Hugh and I are both wondering how it's already March 11th?!?! What happened to February? 😅

I'm going to be honest... I have fallen behind a bit on messages, emails & editing! BUT I have responded to all messages and emails so if you didn't hear back from me, reach out again, please! I may have missed it!

I typically love winter! However, the older I get the less I love it 😅 maybe it’s because we don’t get snow anymore to make it fun & pretty? Or the fact that my mood is showing I’m not getting enough sunshine & fresh air 😵‍💫

Either way, in 49 days sunset is at 7:04 pm 🤩 now that’s something to look forward to!

Between busy season, weddings, vacation, kid's birthdays, holidays & my husband being gone for work I don't even know what day it is anymore! ha

With that being said, thanks for being patient with me as I try to keep up with all the things!!

I'm not out of the woods just yet, I'll actually be in the woods this weekend & next week for deer hunting and then I am ending the year with 5 weddings! 🤩

I know as a non-photographer, planning outfits is hard! I get it, I even struggle when it comes to my own family photos!

This year, I created a styling guide to help you dress for photos and feel your best! When outfits coordinate (not match!!!!), it creates cohesion in the images and the photos can better show the connection & love between your family rather than just what you wore!

Besides the fact that my kids were over my little photoshoot and didn’t want to participate when we changed a few outfits, do you see how the first image is more appealing to the eye?

With that being said if you ever need help styling your family, please reach out! I’m always happy to offer feedback! :)

Sure, the kids probably weren’t looking at the camera but candids can be so fun! They capture the stage of life you’re in and the personality of your child more than a posed, “everyone smile at the camera” photo!

Letting your kids (and the photographer) lead the session is HARD but when you let the kids be themselves there are fewer tears from them and less stress for mom! 😉
